Key Risk Indicators reloaded

Although Key Risk Indicators have been a staple for Operational Management reports in financial institutions years now, they are rarely drivers action and their relevance is waning. The authors argue that, to become more relevant, should be recast as predominantly business (first line of defence) driven made practical rather than theoretical. After describing the current state future such indicators case no taken, an ideal situation outlined five recommendations presented that serve steps towards state.
